SOMATICS

Somatic practices invites you to slow down and feel. These gentle, intuitive movements help you reconnect with your body’s natural intelligence by tuning into sensation, rhythm, and breath. In this retreat, somatic exploration will support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and embodied insight—guiding you toward a more grounded and compassionate relationship with yourself.

BODY WORK

Bodywork: “the art of healing through touch”. Whether through self-massage, partner work, or guided techniques, these sessions create space for deep release, relaxation, and nervous system reset. With mindful intention, bodywork helps dissolve stored tension and promotes circulation, allowing your body to restore its natural balance and vitality.

YOGA

Yoga is a moving meditation—a powerful practice that connects breath, body, and intention. On the retreat, you’ll explore both dynamic and restorative forms of yoga, helping you build strength, improve flexibility, and cultivate presence. Through guided sequences, you’ll learn to listen to your body’s needs, shift stagnant energy, and create space for deeper awareness and healing.

FREYA WILLIAMS

Freya - Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher 500 Hours (ERYT-500)

Freya's yoga journey spans over a decade, during which she has travelled the world to share her transformative teachings. With a deep-rooted passion for both the mind and body, she integrates her background in nutrition and massage to create a holistic approach to wellness.

She first discovered yoga at the age of 15, during a challenging time in her life when she was battling an eating disorder. Yoga became her sanctuary, allowing her to release negative emotions and build a foundation for healing.

Her love for yoga, surfing, and travel has taken her to over 7 countries, sharing her knowledge and guiding students from all walks of life. Sri Lanka, in particular, holds a special place in Freya’s heart, where she continues to share her passion for yoga and the healing power of the ocean.

Freya believes in cultivating a balance between self-discipline and self-love, empowering her students to embrace both strength and vulnerability. Her approach encourages students to find comfort in discomfort, unlocking new potential both on and off the mat. At the heart of her practice is embodiment—connecting deeply to the body’s sensations and allowing space for healing through both movement and touch.

DAILY SCHEDULE

The day at Senses starts with a soft slow morning, waking up to the sounds of the birds and with a stroll to our yoga shala going through exotic fruit trees and lush greenery while sipping on tea or coffee. The day is a mix of practices, workshops and free time for a perfectly balanced retreat. Here’s how a sample day looks like:
